oGerald G. Carlson
Position: Director, President & Chief Executive Officer

Gerry Carlson has been involved in mineral exploration and exploration company management for over 30 years. Prior to forming Copper Ridge in 1999, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of La Teko Resources Ltd., a position he held until the acquisition of La Teko by Kinross. Prior to that, he was President of ConSil Corp. (June 1995 to November 1996) and Vice-President, Exploration, for Dentonia Resources Ltd. (February 1994 to May 1995). These positions included management of exploration activities from Alaska to Mexico and the Northwest Territories. Mr. Carlson's educational background includes a B.A.Sc. from University of Toronto in Geological Engineering and graduate studies in Economic Geology including a M.Sc. from Michigan Technological University and Ph.D. from Dartmouth College. He is also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Almaden Minerals Ltd., Amera Resources Corporation, Golden Aria Corp. and Tarsis Capital Corp. Mr. Carlson is the President of the Society of Economic Geologists Canada Foundation, a past President of AME BC (formerly the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines) and, in 2003, was awarded the CIM's J.C. Sproule Award in recognition of his contributions to mineral exploration in Canada's north.

 
oMark Fields
Position: Director

Mark Fields, B. Sc., B. Comm., P. Geo. received a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of British Columbia in 1986 and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in 1976 from Queen's University. He is a professional geologist with over 19 years' experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry. Mr. Fields has been involved in projects throughout North America with the primary focus being northern Canada and Alaska. He was a member of the management team which participated in the sale of the La Teko Resources Ltd. to Kinross Gold Corporation and he was also involved in the acquisition and development of the Diavik diamond project for the Rio Tinto Group. Recently he was Executive Vice-President of Pine Valley Mining Corporation and was a key member of the executive team which brought the Willow Creek coal mine into commercial production. Mr. Fields is a member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy & Petroleum.

 
oRobert W. Schafer
Position: Director

Robert W. Schafer is Vice President, Business Development for Hunter Dickinson Inc. Previously, he was Vice President, Exploration for Kinross Gold Corporation. Prior to joining Kinross, Mr. Schafer was Regional Exploration Manager with BHP Minerals. He has more than 25 years in the mining industry and has worked on virtually all continents and has several deposits credited to his discovery record. Mr. Schafer is currently on the Board of Directors of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (S.M.E.). He also serves as President of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America. In 2002, Mr. Schafer was awarded the Saunders Gold Medal by A.I.M.E. for career achievement.

 
oGordon J. Fretwell
Position: Director

Gordon J. Fretwell is a lawyer who received his B.Comm. in 1978 and his LLB in 1979, both from the University of British Columbia. He has been engaged in the private practice of law for over 20 years, the last 10 years through his own law firm in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Fretwell specializes in securities and mining law and acts for several public companies engaged in the mineral resource sector.

 
oAlan C. Savage
Position: Director

Alan C. Savage has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. In 1978, he incorporated and was the primary architect of building Imperial Metals Corp., a TSE traded mining and oil and gas operation. In 1986, Mr. Savage acquired an interest in Geddes Resources Ltd. and took the leading role in respect of bringing to feasibility the famous Windy Craggy copper deposit. When Geddes Resources was acquired by Northgate Exploration Ltd., Mr. Savage assumed control of New Canamin Resources Ltd. During his tenure New Canamin acquired, developed and brought to commercial feasibility the 90 million tonne Huckleberry copper, molybdenum, gold and silver deposit. New Canamin was subsequently bought by Princeton Mining Corporation. Since 1996, Mr. Savage has been actively involved in the development of Doublestar Resources Ltd., a company with advanced and grassroots precious and base metal projects in Western Canada and the Northwest Territories.

 
oJ. Greg Dawson
Position: VP of Exploration

Mr. Dawson has over 20 years of experience in the exploration business having most recently been self-employed, successfully acquiring and vending his own properties in British Columbia. Prior to that, Mr. Dawson was general manager of Teck Cominco's Santiago, Chile, exploration office for three years. In this position, Mr. Dawson was responsible for property acquisitions and the design and execution of Teck Cominco's exploration programs in Chile and Argentina. Prior to his appointment in Santiago, Mr. Dawson was district manager for Teck Corp.'s exploration operations in the former Soviet Republic of Kazakstan in central Asia for four years. In the years previous, Mr. Dawson held positions of increasing responsibility with several junior mining companies including Pacific Sentinel Gold Corp. and Continental Gold Corp. (both formerly of the Hunter Dickinson Group).

 
oKaren Liu
Position: Secretary and VP, Corporate Affairs

Ms. Liu provides administrative consulting services to public companies in Canada and the U.S. She has previously served as Corporate Secretary of First Quantum Minerals Ltd., Kensington Resources Ltd. and Energy Metals Corporation.
