Initial Scheelite Dome Results

Copper Ridge Explorations Inc. (the "Company") reports initial results on its drill program being carried out on the Scheelite Dome gold property, near Mayo, central Yukon Territory.

Results have been received for drill holes SH99-16 and SH99-17 from Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. These holes were planned to intersect an induced polarization anomaly partially tested by one of last year's drill holes, SH98-11. Significant results are tabulated below:
---------------------------------------------
              From To Interval Gold
Hole No. (metres) (metres) (metres) (gpt)
---------------------------------------------
99-17 143.8 148.7 4.9 0.583
             190.7 195.7 5.0 0.398

99-16 71.6 77.1 5.5 0.688
              85.5 87 1.5 2.041
---------------------------------------------

These holes demonstrate the typically high level of anomalous gold values found at Scheelite Dome throughout their length. They are also anomalous in other key elements associated with gold, both at Scheelite Dome and at other Tintina Gold Belt deposits, including bismuth, arsenic and antimony.

More assays are pending as the 13-hole program continues. Results will be reported as they become available. The 11 remaining drill holes are being directed at a number of different targets. Of particular interest are four holes which tested down dip and along strike extensions from hole SH98-12, which intersected 3.7 grams gold per tonne over 7.7 metres. These holes successfully intersected the target zone. The orientation of the zone can now be estimated in order to guide future drilling. The key marker is a quartz breccia unit, which may provide evidence of mineralization controls. Below this is a phyllitic quartzite unit which is highly fractured, leached and oxidized. It is characterized by discordant quartz veining with disseminated sulphide mineralization similar to the unit which hosted the mineralized section of SH98-12.

Copper Ridge is strategically positioned throughout the Tintina Gold Belt, with aggressive exploration focused on discovery. Copper Ridge's properties are characterized by the key geological features that are common to the major known gold deposits of the Tintina Gold Belt, including Pogo, Fort Knox, Brewery Creek and True North.
