Excellent Gold Values Reported From Scheelite Dome Project in Yukon

 No. 21/2003

Vancouver, BC, November 6, 2003 -- Copper Ridge Explorations Inc. (the "Company") announces that Golden Patriot Mining Inc. ("Golden Patriot") has reported assay results from the diamond drilling program on the Scheelite Dome Gold Project. The complete text of the release follows:

"Golden Patriot Mining is pleased to report assay results from two diamond drill holes on its Scheelite Dome Project 25 kilometres northwest of Mayo, Yukon.

Hole TOM-2, drilled to a depth of 160.5 metres, encountered a zone of calc-silicate mineralization that averaged 7.1 gm gold/tonne over 6.4 metres, including 24.4 gm gold/tonne over 1.7 m. A subsequent interval further down this hole returned 0.94 metres averaging 2.0 gm gold/tonne.

Hole TOM-1, drilled to a depth of 76.8 metres and located 110 metres (360 feet) to the east of TOM-2, encountered 5.1 gm gold/tonne over 1.22 metres.

Hole TOM-3 was abandoned due to drilling problems at approximately the same stratigraphic horizon in which mineralization was encountered in the previous two holes.

Five holes were completed in the fall drill program before it was halted because of inclement weather. Assay results from TOM-4 and TOM-5 should be available in 1-2 weeks. These holes tested an independent IP anomaly to the south that may be associated with the geological target evaluated in TOM-1 and TOM-2. In total, 310 metres (1,016 feet) of drilling was completed in this phase of exploration.

The focus of the drill program was a calc-silicate horizon in the Tom Zone which previously returned high grade surface samples. (See Press Release of September 29, 2003). This prospective horizon is a calc silicate with a dip of approximately 30-35 degrees to the south. These initial drill results indicate potential continuity of the Tom Zone gold mineralization within an interpreted stratigraphic horizon that was previously defined only by discontinuous surface exposures.

The Scheelite Dome Project is recognized as one of the largest intrusion-related gold systems in the Yukon based on the presence of a large mineralized alteration system, the multiple controls for mineralization and significant drill and trench results.

The Tom Zone is among the most promising mineralized areas on the property and the latest drill results confirm its potential as a high-grade target. It occurs within one of the strongest individual gold anomalies at the western end of a gold geochemical soil anomaly that is over eight kilometers long and up to two kilometers wide.
